Monster (ft. Sadat X & C Rayz Walz) [Adreneline Mix]
Vast Aire’s latest EP, A Space Iliad, is out. A Space Iliad is a collection of remixes and b-sides from his previous OX 2010: A Space Odyssey. The second half of the duo Cannibal OX, and also founding member of the Atoms Family and The Weathermen, has just released the second single, “Monster”, with Sadat X and C-Rayz Walz. This has a western sound to it that just works for me. The production on the track is very well done with changes in pitch used on the chorus to give it a dark sound that’s reflective of the song title….
Music Video: Vast Aire – Royal Purple Bag
This coming Tuesday, January 29th, Vast Aire will release his new EP, A Space Iliad. The 10-track project, which is a collection of b-sides and remixes from Vast’s previous album, OX 2010: A Street Odyssey, will be made available via Vast’s label, Man Bites Dog Records. The video, directed and edited by H. Rockwell, is a collage clip. And like previous collage clips from Man Bites Dog Records, for songs like Stu Bangas & Vanderslice’s “1st Degree Murder,” featuring Vinnie Paz, Roc Marciano, and Celph Titled, the video pulls from a collection of old videos and movies, in this case…
News: Man Bites Dog Records Announces 2013 Release Plans
Starting in late January Man Bites Dog Records is planning releases from a mix of hip-hop vets and promising upstarts alike, with albums and mixtapes slated from Roc Marciano, Illogic & Blockhead, Harry Fraud & Eddie B, Vast Aire, Wais P, Curly Castro, Hayze, and more. On January 23rd, Man Bites Dog will celebrate their first release of the year with Wais P’s PV$$Y RICH mixtape, a free offering that includes features from Action Bronson, Devin The Dude, and more that will serve as a prelude to Wais’ official Man Bites Dog debut, Pimpin Saved My Life, out this March….
