Decoded Now in 5 Different Versions

Jay-Z’s book, “Decoded“, dropped last month through Random House Inc. for $35 bucks for the book.  Now, a digital version is available for the same price.  It should be noted that Amazon and Barnes & Noble Inc. sells it for $9.99.  Since dropping on Nov. 16, “Decoded” has sold 330,000 copies (I’m one of those numbers).  If you think about this economy right now, that’s pretty big.  People just don’t have $35 dollars to throw away.  Random House has now developed an app for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.  Gina Centrello, publisher of Random House Publishing Group states that…

Well, now that George Bush has a #1 best seller (the first for Random House since Bill Clinton’s “My Life” in 2004), it’s time for Kanye West to stand up. According to Random House, President, *ahem*, former President George W. Bush’s “Decision Points” sold 775,000 copies during its first week of publication and e-book sales are 100,000.
