2 Chainz Based On A Tru Story Listening Session At Treesound Studios

Tewww Chainzzz!! That’s all you heard in the room from the crowd as the emcee reeled off his signature calling card. A night filled with celebrities such as NeYo, Bobby Valentino, Mike Will Made It and more,2Chainz entertained the crowd with his coolness and laid back, homeboy-from-next door persona at Tree Sound Studios, Atlanta’s largest and more unique recording studio.

I arrived at Tree Sound Studios shortly before 7:30 and the parking lot was already starting to swell. The valet crew is busy parking cars and the attendees were lining up. Tree Sound Studio did an excellent job at managing the crowd and moving people through registration. Like with any industry event, it wasn’t completely smooth but it was much better than expected.

Once the team was in the building, we enjoyed some great food from the buffet and a couple of glasses of Grey Goose before 2Chainz hit the stage. I have to give it to him, 2Chainz put on a great show. You could tell that crowd is really looking forward to checking out “Based on a T.R.U. Story” when it hits stores this month. They were ready and rocked from record to record. Heads were nodding, fans were rapping along and hands waved back and forth in the air.

This event was a culmination of all of 2Chainz’s hard work on his album and Tree Sound Studios expertise at hosting a great event. I walked away not only impressed but looking forward to the next industry event at Tree Sound Studios.
